My name is Hannah Pierce and I am the youngest of four children. My family and I moved to Georgia in 2004 because my dad was offered an amazing job as a writer for a huge company. I've grown up surrounded by constant love and raised by incredible parents. For a few years we've started having more and more financial problems. My dad was diagnosed with cancer and had numerous surgeries for that and for his back. We've all had numerous hospital visits, stays, and perscription drugs to pay for. In January of 2015 my grandmother who lived with us passed away suddenly and the costs of her funeral and burial put us in a lot of debt. This all exploded last year when my dad's company cut his salary in half due to budget cuts and took away his full position. At the same time, my mother lost her job as a teacher. Fast foward a few months and we were evicted from our home of 13 years.
My dad doesn't just look like Santa Claus, my dad is Santa Claus. There are dozens upon dozens of stories of him being able to change a kid's life or give hope, solace, or joy to the parents. Right now, my dad is the Santa at the Incredible Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We are so blessed that he has been able to find this opportunity of a year long Santa! We are currently living in Jasper, GA which is still three and a half hours away from my dad. My mother hasn't been able to teach again because we don't have any cars at the moment since both of ours were totaled last year. We are still struggling to pay rent for our home, buy food, or rent cars. In two days, our rent is due for the month and we have no money to pay it. We were late on last months rent and if we are late again we could lose this house as well. My goal for this go fund me account is $4000, which will cover two months rent for us. If we meet that goal, y'all will be helping my beautiful family keep our home and get back on our feet. If we exceed that goal I will be so astonished at the generosity of family, friends, and strangers alike. Every single dollar donated will go towards our rent. Please help my family in any way you can, whether it's a donation of $1 or $100. God bless <3
