Please Help Phillip "Andre" Marcotte

Just under four years ago, Andre was referred to a cardiologist to find out why his legs were in constant pain.  During the process of finding out what was causing his pain, it was discovered that he had a tumor in one of his lungs.  Before the cardiologist could help his legs, Andre underwent chemotherapy and radiation on the tumor.  

After recovering from lung cancer, Andre's cardiologist performed a catheterization and angioplasty on his legs and discovered both legs were plugged from his hips to his knees.  His cardiologist inserted balloons into both legs to hold the blockages open.  Unfortunately, sections that had been opened then collapsed.  Andre underwent three more surgeries in his right leg to insert stents, blowing a hole in his artery in the process.  The left leg wouldn't stay unplugged after three attempts at inserting balloons, so he underwent bypass surgery from his hip to his knee.   His body rejected the prosthetic bypass tube, and his leg plugged 100% at the insertion site, causing him to undergo an emergency bypass ... his second bypass to the same leg.   When all was said and done, Andre underwent a minimum of twelve procedures and two bypasses on his legs and is still awaiting, at the very minimum, at least one more procedure or bypass in his left leg. 

Next, a second tumor was discovered in his lungs.  Again, he underwent radiation therapy. 

Due to radiation therapy and his CPAP machine, Andre developed leakages in his right lung, causing it to completely collapse.  Again, he was rushed to the ER and admitted to the hospital.  After his body rid itself of blood thinners, he underwent MAJOR surgery to repair the damage that radiation had done to his lungs.   After two weeks in the hospital, Andre is now home recuperating, but it's going to be a long, slow recovery. 

During all of this, Andre has not been able to work ... at the same time incurring a mountain of medical bills.  His wife Dawn has also taken an abundance of time off work to drive Andre to appointments, sit with him at the hospital, and help him when he's laid up. 

Not only do Andre and Dawn need help paying medical bills, they can also use help with everyday expenses.  Andre is always there for everybody else.  Now he needs your help.  Please be there for him.
