Please help my cat Bailey

Hello Everyone, I hope this day finds you well. I'm in a bind and need your help. I took Bailey my cat that I took care of for Mom to the vet on Wednesday. He's wasn't eating too well but he was trying to. Blood tests showed kidneys were good. They took x-rays of the chest found nothing. They got his fever down and he was eating when given by syringe. Today they found his stomach was tender and the x-rays showed an abscess on the side. I told them to do what they could because I would do the same for my children. Call me crazy, but that's how I am. Now the tough part. This all is going to cost close to 1600.00 dollars. I have 500.00 that I can do because responsible me payed all my bills already.  I have decided that any monies over the 1100.00 limit will go to a local veterans association The Veterans Enrichment Center.    https://www.veteransenrichmentcenter.org/

They help homeless vets get on their feet. I will post a picture of the money order filled out to them should this happen.

I want to thank everyone beforehand.  I have to try to help Bailey as best I can don't usually ask for help.
