Dental work for Benji

As some of you know, I rescued Benji from an unfortunate situation a few weeks back.
Benji's owners had to enter assisted living for the elderly, and he was given to family members who could not dedicate the time and attention that he needed. And actually found a vet willing to put him down if alternate accomodations weren't met soon.
So I rescued him, and he needs some dental work. The vet - Beechmount Animal Hospital here in Waterloo has quoted between $800 - $1000. Any and all help would be much appreciated with funding. This was definitely not in my 2017 budget, however I just couldn't sit by and do nothing.
He's a sweet 7 year old boy who's integrated himself well (even surprising me) into my cat-family. He deserves prompt excellent care.
