Michael Bush is critically ill.

Michael Bush is a loving father of two, devoted husband, realtor, triathlete and Maui resident.  While traveling with his family, he suddenly collapsed at the airport.  He was rushed to the hospital, where his heart briefly stopped.  He was diagnosed with idiopathic cardiomyositis, an inflammation of his heart muscle with no identifiable cause.  He had to be transferred to another hospital so that he could start ECMO, a form of cardiac bypass to support his failing heart.  He has now had a stroke.

Meanwhile, his wife Terezia has been singlehandedly running the household, taking care of their two children on Maui, while going to Oahu to be at his side.  She has not been able to return to work, it’s not clear when she will be able to.
