Please help Marzena!

On November 19th, 2019, one of our closest and dearest friends Marzena, underwent what should have been routine surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto to have a kidney stone removed.  As a result of complications during the operation, Marzena suffered punctured and collapsed lungs which have led to additional difficulties.  Although the doctors state her situation is not considered life-threatening, Marzena is still in the hospital contending with a prolonged and drawn - out long term recovery.

Marzena is a hardworking single mother raising two beautiful kids, Alex and Olivia.  She is a loving mother, daughter, sister and an amazing friend! She has no immediate family living in Canada that can help her during this tough time.  Marzena has no paid vacation or sick time left at her place of employment and will have to go on a short-term disability.  

Marzena is going through a very difficult time and facing a significant financial challenge. The bills continue to pile up as she undergoes treatment and rehabilitation in the hospital. Marzena would never ask for help herself and so we are appealing to our community for your support on her behalf. Please donate what you can.  Thank you very much!
