Please help Lady Marmalade

Lady marmalade a.k.a. Mimi was found in Waukegan into no man’s land between Sheridan Road and the beach. She was dumped behind a fence and thrown pretty hard. She had scratches and abrasions and a very swollen eye. This poor little mama was used as a breeding machine, somebody cut off her ears with scissors and left her with a raging ear infection And intestines full of parasites, leaving her very underweight.

Lady marmalade is back at our veterinarian where she’s going to stay a few days for observation. Her eye is still swollen, and she’s feeling lethargic. We have sent out bloodwork today, our veterinarian looked at some of her bumps and is sending out for cytology, and we are also doing a blastomycosis test.

Blastomycosis is a fungus that both humans and animals can get, and it can be deadly if not treated aggressively with antibiotics
