Please Help Kuma Run Again

Kuma is a 5 year old Alaskan Husky in desperate need of a TPLO surgery. He's a gentle and loving fluffy bear, who is also an emotional support dog for a Vietnam Veteran. Six weeks ago, Kuma was enjoying the cool morning air and running around in his backyard. While playing, he injured himself. Kuma came inside whining, crying and shaking, he was also holding up his back left leg. Kuma's vet confirmed that it was a cruciate ligament tear. We've tried to let him heal naturally, but after 4 weeks of physical therapy and pain management, he has re-injured his knee. Kuma is super active and it's almost impossible to keep him calm and crated with restricted movement. Because of this, we have decided that surgery is his best option. We have been working hard to save every bit of extra money, but have still come up short on funds. TPLO surgery is expensive, because it also includes follow-up care and continuing PT. We are hoping and praying, that you will find it in your heart to help us so Kuma can get the medical attention he needs. He has helped his Veteran human tremendously, now it's time to help Kuma!
