JulieAnn - 35 years old, kind, generous, beautiful soul -----  victim of CANCER

11 years ago, JulieAnn moved from the Philippines to Canada looking for opportunity and to be with her Aunt and cousins.
Sadly, last year her loving Aunt lost her courageous battle with cancer.

As they struggled to return to some sort of normalcy, JulieAnn noticed that something was wrong with her own body in June 2018.
In what seemed like a blink of an eye, she was being told that she needed laparoscopic surgery which then turned into emergency invasive surgery when they found the cancer had spread to her appendix.

JulieAnn, on her first admission to the hospital, was diagnosed with stage 4 Endometrial cancer and at only 35 years old, had to have a full hysterectomy, forsaking her dream of having children of her own one day.

Within 3 weeks of surgery, she had to start aggressive chemotherapy treatments.
JulieAnn suffered through three brutal cycles of chemo that took everything out of her.  She required HomeCare IV fluids but regained as much strength as she could to return to work once the vomiting had stopped.

JulieAnn returned to work during this time, not because she wanted to, but because this wasn't the only hardship her family was facing.
JulieAnn had been living with her cousin, Michelle and Michelle's husband was diagnosed in May 2018 with a brain tumor.  He underwent surgery one week after JulieAnn to remove the tumor.

Michelle, JulieAnn's cousin, with 4 children was now feeling all of the financial burden on her shoulders while still grieving the loss of her mother and trying to stay strong for her husband and cousin. JulieAnn being the beautiful soul she is, would not let this cancer stop her from helping her family.

3 weeks ago, JulieAnn had another CT scan and they found that the treatment was unsuccessful.  More tumors were growing.
She was referred to another oncologist for a new chemotherapy treatment.

The cancer that JulieAnn has will not be cured.  They have been told they need to find a treatment that will control the cancer but not all treatments are covered.

The doctors have advised Michelle to have JulieAnn's mother and siblings come to Canada to see her sooner than later.

They do not have the income to pay for the extra treatment, they cannot afford to send for JulieAnn's family and she is not well enough to travel.

This woman is the person I see every few months and we chat a bit before she tells me to have a nap.   JulieAnn is my lash technician.
She is kind and caring with the most beautiful soul.  When she told me about her health troubles there was no question in my mind what I needed to do.

Please please please, if you have $1 to spare, help JulieAnn see her family and afford the treatments that could prolong her beautiful life ❤
