Please help Hopi get a diabetic glucose monitor

Hopi is a super loving, outgoing, funny and compassionate 5 year old! She lives with her mom and dad and 3 older siblings. Life was pretty normal for her up until just before her 5th birthday this year (December) our family was hit with the shocking news that Hopi had type 1 diabetes and would need round the clock care to manage her little body’s system.
I am a firm believer in community. I’ve seen this community pull together time and time again and I’m asking that we pull together for my family and raise money for a Continuous Glucose Monitor and maintenance expenses for Hopi. This will allow her parents to sleep at night, as they are up anywhere between 2-5 times a night, every night, to check her.
Unfortunately diabetes is not recognized by the government to be a funder for machines like this, that are both necessary and life saving. Given the risks of lows at night- this necessary machine could save her life as it will alert the parents if she is dangerously low. Basic or extended medical does not cover necessary expenses for this life saving machine and maintenance fees.
My beautiful niece is such an amazing 5 year old- and to help keep her spark and quality of life, this machine is necessary.
