Please Help Emily Danford
Donation protected
Emily is 13 years old and is currently battling cancer.
She is the youngest daughter of Maori Danford (a staff member of Uprising Beach Resort)
Emily has been diagnosed with a left distal femur primary bone malignancy. She started developing the tumor earlier this year and it is now rapidly expanding and growing in size. She has been seen in both CWM and Lautoka hospital by the orthopedic teams.
A biopsy was done in Lautoka hospital which confirmed a histological diagnosis of a Osteosarcoma.
A CT scan of Emily’s chest and pelvis did not show any metastatic spread however did not rule out any micrometastasis.
Chemotherapy and radiotherapy are not available in Fiji. If Emily is unable to go overseas for further treatment, Doctor's recommend amputation of her lower left leg.
Please help us to provide the best possible outcome and seek overseas treatment to help Emily and her Family.
