Dear friend,
It is with my heart in my hands I write this message. I am forever grateful for your time reading my story.
I desperately need your help to stay alive and above all, I ask you this for my little daughter, Angelina. She needs me, I am alone to take care of her.
In 2018, I got diagnosed with the most aggressive, deadly and difficult to treat breast cancer.
The name of the beast: TNBC (Triple Negative Breast Cancer) (BRCA Negative) Basel like. Already stage 3 (metastatic to lymph nodes) when diagnosed.
I underwent chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. After one year of heavy treatments, it finally came to an end December 2018. The doctors surprisingly told me I was cancer free!
January 2019, I started studying again. Wanted to create a better future for my lovely little daughter and me. I worked hard, had good grades and loved to be back in school.
In October 2019, they told me the cancer was back. Now with metastases in my entire lymphatic system. I was devastated. For two days I was truly miserable and just cried my eyes out. (Of course, my daughter was at my parents, she is only 6 years now and do not know I am seriously ill).
I then accepted the circumstances and the new situation. I decided to stay positive and happy while walking this road. With hope, peace and joy in my mind... I fully appreciate every moment of life. I want to be able to care for my little girl. She really needs me.
The oncologists in Denmark offer me life prolonging chemotherapy. They do not have possibility to do immunotherapy in Denmark at the moment.
The tests on my tumors made it clear that chemotherapy has little to no effect on my cancer. Therefore, it makes no sense for me to do chemotherapy again. If only it worked!
Since the beginning, I felt forced upon this chemo train, despite very poor outcome for metastatic TNBC with chemo...it was truly my torture and I showed very uncommon severe side effects.
I have spent days and nights of research to find available treatments with a chance to work on this specific type of cancer abroad. I found interesting success stories in Germany and Austria with alternative treatments to chemotherapy, combining the best from alternative and conventional medicine.
I do not benefit from social security while going abroad for treatments, but it is my only chance to survive! I hope to raise financial support to begin my fight again.
To change and do multiple treatments when fighting with TNBC is necessary, cause the cancer is adapting. It's a strategic game and I constantly keep searching for options. I stay positive and live a healthy life without stress, as it is crucial!
Due to the aggressiveness of TNBC, my tumors are painfully growing every day and it's just so scary to witness and I am worrying it’s metastasizing to other organs. My situation is urgent, and I need financial support as soon as possible.
I hope you will give me the possibility to stay alive for my little daughter.
