Fairy Godmother Needs A New Home!

Austin Fairy Godmother has been making dreams come true for 10 years now. As you know, we are not your average dress boutique. Our non-profit offers an affordable way for girls and women, of all ages, to attend their formal events in style, with confidence, and without the burden of expense; but we also provide a number of programs to assist the community.

- Our Diva Day Out Mentoring Program aims to make a difference in troubled teens and battered women’s lives all over Central Texas by providing a safe, fun, and empowering place to feel beautiful.

- Each month, we load our big pink truck full of dresses to bring smiles to beautiful faces in smaller communities who may not have access to stores such as ours. We call this our Mobile Boutique.

- Every year we host private shopping parties for Dell Children’s Hospital, Texas School for the Deaf, and more. We are always adding new organizations to the list of places we help; we just recently added the Homeless Awareness Response Program for homeless teens in Killeen.

As every month passes, the need for our services grows. More and more young ladies come through our door, looking for a dress for their special occasion. It's gotten to where volunteers are on top of customers and vice-versa. We're thrilled to be able to help so many, who otherwise would have missed their special event because they could not afford the outfit to attend, but some days it’s almost chaotic just to walk in the door.

Not only are we busting at the seams, but our rental space is starting to fall down around us. The roof leaks, the AC is constantly broken (and it’s almost summer!), there’s not adequate parking or a properly paved parking lot. And, once again, there is talk of the landlord losing the building. It is time for the Austin Fairy Godmother to find a new home. After meeting with financial advisers, realtors, board members and builders, our best option is to try to obtain our own facility. For literally half the cost of renting a retail space the same size that we have now, we could pay to own and maintain a facility that is ours.

We are asking the community to help us to build a new future for Austin Fairy Godmother. To help us to continue making dreams come true! Help us to purchase land in Leander, TX and have a steel building built to suit the future needs of our mission. Be a part of our future!

For your donation of $250 or more, we will have a brick memorialized with your info on it to be placed on the inside of our new facility. These bricks will be used in building walls where they can be showcased forever. Each one of these bricks will truly be a piece of the foundation of the Austin Fairy Godmother. These pink bricks will feature a plaque with your name or company name engraved (plaque color based on sponsorship level), and every brick will be used inside the new building to forever showcase your part in helping to build a new future.

Diamond Level(Black) - $1000 or more
Sapphire Level (Gold) - $500-$999
Ruby Level - (Silver) - $250-$499

No donation amount will be turned down, as every penny towards our new home is immensely appreciated! Our goal is to have 100 pink bricks claimed to secure the initial expense in the journey to have a new place to call home.
