Hall Fletcher Elementary Playground Needed!

Please consider donating to help the children of Hall Fletcher Elementary School have a usable blacktop with basketball courts. The elementary school only has one flat area where the asphalt is cracked in multiple areas. There were originally 4 adult basketball hoops, but only 1 is semi-usable. There are 2 children sized hoops, of which 1 is working, but the back is completely cracked and won't last another school year.
School Background:
Hall Fletcher Elementary School in Asheville North Carolina is a STEM Magnet School. Our student population is 330 students, and as of June 2018, 191 of those students were eligible to receive free lunch and 12 at a reduced rate. Hall Fletcher has the highest poverty rate of all of the Elementary schools in the Asheville City School district at 60.24%.
The school's blacktop is in dire need of help and hasn't had any repair in numerous years. During the last school year, 3rd graders petitioned the principal for new playground equipment and blacktop. The PTO reached out to the school district given a quote of $75,780. The school district has stated that they cannot help to any funding for this project; so HFE PTO has created this gofund to see if the community can help us get the children and community a good quality blacktop to play on.
As 60% of Hall Fletcher's school families are living below the federal poverty level, the school PTO cannot ask families to donate, nor are there any funds in the PTO reserve to take on this project this size. We need your help! Hall Fletcher Elementary students and staff deserve a blacktop, where children can play during their recess.
