Praise God I've been approved for this RNS device trial study. I am one of only 15 that UCSF has approved to be an excellent candidate. Got the brain surgery, now I will have to return to UCSF every 2 weeks for up to one year for monitoring and adjusting of the device on my brain. All my medical and medicines are covered by my social security benefits. Unfortunately, I am on a fix income and will have trouble affording the trips which I am not reimbursed for.
