On October 28, 2017, in Aldie, Virginia my brother and sister-in-law's life was radically transformed by a reckless driver. He was fleeing the scene of another crime when he went left of center and hit my sister-in-law's car head-on. She has and continues to fight to overcome the horrific injuries from this accident, has had 11 surgeries as of this posting, and recovery is still a long and difficult road ahead for them.
The devastation from this event has left them with mounting medical bills (most of which their insurance will cover) and out-of-pocket expenses not covered by insurance.
