Lady D's Car Fund

My name is Doris Fields. My stage name is Lady D. I make my living as a singer, actress and director. That means I do not make much money. Couple that with the fact that I have been without a car for two years now. It makes trying to earn a living even more difficult, especially in an area with no real public transportation.



I currently rely on friends to take me to gigs, to the store; everywhere I need to go. As you can imagine, I have very good friends but even they have their limits and cannot always accommodate me, therefore sometimes I'm forced to turn down paying jobs. I am trying to raise at least $2500 to get a good used vehicle so that I can begin to become self sufficient again.

*I can find other regular paying jobs
*I won't have to ask for rides
*I can once again support other artists and organizations

It is my goal to have a vehicle by early December before winter sets in.  I have tried other avenues and been unsuccessful. In my line of work, I have to have a car and at this point, I have to ask for help. Understand that I am not asking for your help and not offering anything in return. Please look at the reward levels that I've posted in return for whatever small amount you may be able to help me with. I will be forever and eternally grateful!
