PJHS Lab Cats

PJHS are truly underfunded overachievers. We rank the lowest per-student funds in the state kof Alabama. However we consistently rank in the top for test scores. We are proud of our students! However, we are need of a new science lab . Our microscopes and eyewear are old. We do not have beakers or bunsen burners. We need slides and slide covers and pH strips and chemical gloves and dissecting kits for all students. We need tables and stools and work spaces to appropriately teach life science and physical science to over 1,000 7th and 8th grade students. We have dedicated this year to the new lab. We have ordered 4 of the needed 8 tables and some starter items. We have a space outside the classroom to be the lab. Although we have started, we need your help to make this a functioning lab where students can truly learn through STEM activities. Thank you for your help.
