Pixel's Vet Bills and Care

Pixel is a 3 month old kitten I rehomed from a litter of stray kittens that were rescued. He instantly became a big momma's boy, and has cuddled and napped with me since day one. He's also taken his proper ruling as the jellybean prince of darkness in our home as he rightfully should.
The other morning however, our roommate did not see him and stepped on him getting out of the shower. This caused a broken femur, midshaft that is requiring surgery to be able to correct. We almost had to lose his leg but luckily has full nerve function.
We saw 2 total vets, one for xrays who had a bad rep for being money hungry and another vet who is doing the procedure and has a rep for being amazingly helpful and flexible. This has allowed us to sell a bunch of things for a deposit to allow us to do payments.
But that is where we need help. We're already struggling with money now as it is, and this was a heavy kick to us while we're down. On top of the current struggle, I've had to miss work to make sure I can be there as the vets and Pixel need. But Pixel is family and needs the best treament that we can find for him so he can grow up to be his best.
Our grand total for everything has been about $1250 but we've already covered a portion, partly with selling items and partly by a family member lending the last of their CareCredit limit.
What I am asking for is to cover the rest of the bills, and cover me while I stay home with him for his first few days home and workout a petsitter so he's never alone while he heals.
