My aim is to run/walk/jog the Bournemouth marathon, raising funds for a cause that is very important to our family, The Pituitary Foundation UK.

Dreams do come true.
I wished and prayed for a daughter just like you.
Hard to believe, I know, but its true.
The moment we met I loved you through and through.

On the day of your birth,
I realized life and it’s true worth.

Instant love for our first beloved, A baby sent from up above.

We stared at you with amazement in our eyes, Around the corner was a heartbreaking surprise,

As the storm began to rumble,
I felt my entire world start to crumble.

Thinking of my girl in pain or fright, Made for a nightmare day and night.

The tests that followed made me feel so hollow, Looking upon you made me weep with such sorrow.

They say some things are meant to be, but why was it you and not me?

Your health the most important to me,
Something id taken for granted till we went from two to three.

As days went by your mum and I would cry,
Not knowing what’s next, I still see the worry in her eye.

Your mum kept positive, determined and strong.
But for me, my tough exterior was gone.
She helped our family hold together, even during this, our darkest weather.

Life gives us battles, we learn to fight.
Battles that make you stronger every day and passing night.

You strive for greatness, I am watching on in delight Your smile and laugh, there is no more amazing sight.

Six years on you are amazing and strong, Nothing too much for you to take on.

Sometimes at night, I shed a silent tear, Not knowing the future is my greatest fear.

Deep down I know you will be just fine, After all, you are one of a kind.
A big sister you are, to not one but two Setting a good example, it is you they look to,

Your strength honor, loyalty and more, The sky is the limit, of that I am sure.

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
