Pitch in to help Mary and Dan
Donation protected
On May 7th, around 4:00pm, Mary and Dan Gunning's barn caught fire.
Having moved to their dream farm just weeks prior, their home is still under rennovation and as we all know, even the best insurance coverage won't be able to replace a century old barn, as beautiful as it was.
The Gunnings lost their entire flock of chickens in the fire, who were pets as well as livestock. They also lost an extensive amount of tools, equipment, etc.
Luckily, the family was not home when the fire started and nobody was hurt.
The shock of such a huge loss is impossible to measure. Especially when it comes so soon after moving in to a new home with young children. There are many things that insurance wont begin to cover when cleaning up a disaster like this one.
Any amount you are able to donate is appreciated, and will help this family pick up the pieces and rebuild their farm.
