Pipeline Swallowtail Field Trip

Aragon High School's Advanced Biotechnology class had the unique opportunity to assist California Academy of Sciences Biologist, Tim Wong with his project repopulating the California Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly. We have been investigating methods of propagating the butterfly's host plant, the California Pipevine and are hoping to find a method that is quick and robust to help increase the habitat for this butterfly that is rare in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. Tim has invited the class to visit the project sites at the California Academy of Sciences and the San Francisco Botanical Garden, and we need your help. We need to raise $500 to cover the cost of admission to the museum and to cover parking. Any amount you might be able to contribute would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for your support!
