PineCreek mobile pet clinic fund

$300 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 7 people in 22 months
Living in isolated communities far from a Vet Clinic, plus the demographics has caused a large number of strays and unwanted pets. This puts the communites at high risk of health and safety to the people as well as the animals. As my 14 yrold son Lindon Brass said, "It is just wrong to see animals suffering, starving and eating one another, we have to do something!"
We often see mostly female animals being abandoned or just not taken care of. I am a single parent and try to do the right thing and be a good example. We started saving cats and dogs since 2010, maybe even longer by finding homes or rescues that will take them.
Our goal is to bring a Mobile Vet Clinic to our First Nation so we can spay and neuter at least 25 animals....if we can we will aim higher. Last year we sold 50/50 and raised enough money to serve 16 animals for spay and nueter....some from my own pocket.
After breakfast today, my kids and I are off to feed some stray dogs of which we will post, thanks to Feed the Furbabies that donated us dogfood.
I will be posting pictures as we go along feeding them.
Help us save these innocent animals!!!!

I was pretty sure we stopped the Go-fund me campaign.
I was surprised to see this still up...so here is an update.
Because I was I having a hard time getting funds, we used the 300 hundred that was raised to go toward pets for Spay and Neuter with the Dauphin Parkland Humane Society. This summer Brandon Humane Society brought us a spay and neuter clinic due to the high amount of rescues I had been doing. To date my children and I have rescued 99 animals(dogs and cats)
This summer we fixed 47 animals and are still in partnership with the Parkland Humane Society. Along with the spay and neuter clinic and Low income spay and neuters, Pine Creek is pleased to announce that we have spayed and neutered 90% of the pets in our Community. Thank you to all that help by purchasing 50/50 and also donated to this page. It is rare to see starving animals and strays running around with puppies following them here in Pine Creek FN and if it happens, I am contacted and I do my best to help the animal or owners of the pet. Sorry once again, did not realize this page was still up. Thank you to everyone for your support. Pine Creek FN volunteers will continue to help keep the community safe by managing our pet population. Meegwetch

Successful rescue!!! I delivered theses 2 dogs to Brandon yesterday...Thank you Brandon Humane Society and C&C for helping with fuel.
Now these 2 dogs who have been strays for abut a yr....nobody will be chasing them out of their yards or hitting them with rocks or sticks, they won't be wandering around starving or dying of starvation. She won't be having puppies only to suffer here and starve to death, they won't be covered in wood ticks anymore...they are not homeless....This is why we need those donations to bring a mobile vet clinic to Pine Creek..please donate at this link...we cannot hire a mobile vet clinic till we have all the funds 5k...visit the link @ www.gofundme.com/pinecreek-mobile-pet-clinic-fund

Ok we are finally back!!!
After some time off and sorting this all out, I need to clear some stuff up, I am a volunteer in my community and have set this up on volunteer basis with the approval of my community leaders to bring a mobile pet clinic to our community
With the help and guidance of the Parkland Humane Society of Dauphin, I was able to set up an acct. with another volunteer from the the Parkland Humane Society. Lorna Brezden and myself are the signors for the acct. and no funds can be removed unless we are both there. so this being said after taking some time off we will continue to fund raise for this important matter of controlling our pet population to help add to a healthy community.
Our first withdrawal will go into the acct. at the Dauphin Catalyst Credit Union on Monday May 15, 2017.
Thank you everyone for your patience in this important matter that affects so many communities
I am also including a copy of our signed Agreement with myself and the Parkland Humane Society
Now let's get the ball rolling again, any volunteers to help? Please call me or inbox my Facebook.

This was shared with Facebook and your email contacts
please read agreement

Hello Everyone, My children and I haven't given up!
We are currently looking for a beneficiary for our funds to go into so that nobody thinks this is a scam.
We have asked Dauphin Parkland Humane society to handle our donations till we have enough for a mobile spay/neuter clinic to come to our community, Parkland Humane Society will be having their mtg. on March 8/17 and let us know if this is feasible. for now we cannot accept anymore donations till this is set up, so please be patient and we will let you know. If this doesn't work out then will ask another organization if they can help us out in this manner. My children and I thought this would be the best way to do this, sounds more ethical and honest especially for our donors . Thank you for your support!!!

Audrey, thank you for taking the initiative to put forward this campaign and help the dogs and cats in your area. I wish more people would help their communities in this way! I have shared your Go Fund Me on our facebook page, Swan Valley Animal Protection League. We end up with many of the unwanted animals because people don't spay and neuter. Good Luck!!
