Pierpont Family Fund

If you have ever lived or worked at Michigan State University or participated in the Boy Scouts of America, chances are...you have heard of the Pierpont Family.  Scott and Barb are two of the most  amazing individuals you will likely ever encounter.  Their dedication to family, faith and community is beyond measure.   Besides being alumni and starting their lives together at MSU, Scott and Barb have collectively given over 50 years of service to the Univeristy.  In that time, they have positively impacted hundreds of lives and left a footprint that will forever be ingrained  in the green and white community. 
         Unfortunately, life has not gone as planned for this family.  Late in the summer of 2017 Scott was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  After an invasive surgery and many weeks of rest, it appeared as though Scott was in recovery. Sadly, Scott is facing new  medical complications that require numerous road trips to the doctors, treatment and uncertain plans for the future.   The road in this journey is exhausting for Scott and everyone in his family.  It is emotionally exhausting.  Mentally exhausting.  Physically exhausting. and financially exhausting. 
   If ever there were a time that you wanted to help but did not know how...this is your time. Any and all money generated through this fund will go directly to Barb for her to decide where it is spent.  If the family needs it for medical expenses...it will be there.  If they decide a vacation is the right choice... it will be there.  Our job and honor is to make sure it is there for them.  I know how great  MSU, Boy Scouts, and their church community is.  I have total faith this fund will generously increase as a product of how special Scott, Barb, Katie, Mitchell and Michael are to us.
