As we know, Pia was attacked by cancer just over 2 years ago... during this period the cancer has spread from her ovaries to her stomach and has now caused life threatening health issues. Consequently, Pia's aggressive treatment in an attempt to beat cancer has left her penniless and unable to properly fight the good fight without the unnecessary burden of worry of life's necessities.
