In life all things are unexpected. Somedays we may be blessed to see another day and one day we will be blessed to get called home. December 18,2017, My loving father of two was called home after a fatal hit and run car accident. 


Words can not explain my pain, my confusion, and my weakness of losing a wonderful dad, life mentor, best friend, and provider. Our family always enjoyed outings with him.  It was never a dull moment, from frequent visits to his hometown Washington, Dc to exploring other places and restaurants.  He also was a wonderful brother, uncle, and friend to others. To him, no one was a stranger. He always came with an open heart and genuine personality that one will remember forever. This was truly a great shock for everyone’s path he encountered. 


My dad went above and beyond. He went above life's obstacles and created adventures for our family to come together and to always capture the best moments. He went beyond for my brother and myself to ensure we had the best lives. For us, nothing was too great for him to achieve. We were his number one priority as he would always say.  My dad was a hard worker.  He graduated from Howard University then eventually got married to my mother, had children and began to work as a truck driver.  His beautiful spirit showed through his laugh and smile that he carried no matter what.  





What would he want? My dad would love a small family and friend homegoing memorial. Both friends and family are what he valued the most. As I said before, no one was a stranger to him. He made friends everywhere he went, which are many places as he drove across the country to work. He would love to see us all smile. He also would love for me and my brother to graduate college as he did. He always drilled into our heads no matter what life gives you "stay focused".  A great man of intelligence with a brave heart.   May his story bring enlightenment to us all because that is all he ever wanted. 





Due to unexpected circumstances, we were unable to budget his homegoing service. Receiving any support would be a great help for his burial expenses. Thanks in advance for your time and support.
