Philip Leahy is a 22 year old CIT student from Ballyhooly Co. Cork. The Leahy family are cornerstones of the Ballyhooly community, Philip himself captained Ballyhooly to their first ever County Junior B Football title last year. Philip's outgoing personality and love of life make him a hugely popular character amongst all that know him.
In the past week, while on J1 in Ocean City, Philip was involved in a very serious accident. As a result of this Philip is in a very serious condition in Atlantic General Hospital, Ocean City. In order to support the excellent medical treatment that Philip is receiving a fundraising initivate has been set up by Ballyhooly Community.
