Philiae Colors

Philiae signifie  Fraternité en grec ancien...C'est aussi le nom d'un centre médical pour 235 enfants et adolescents handicapés à Toulouse.

Philiae can be translated by 'Fraternity' or "brotherly love" in ancient greek....it is as well the name of a medical center for 235 kids and teenagers with special needs in Toulouse, France.

Philiae Center 

Philiae Colors est un projet qui réunit des artistes locaux de street art, des enfants et leur personnel d'encadrement afin d'embellir, peindre ou graffer les bâtiments (intérieur et extérieur) de leur cadre de vie quotidien.

Philiae Colors is a project where local streetart artists work together with special needs kids and their supports to bring colors and paint graffitis on their daily hospital walls (i.e kids rooms, classrooms, corridors etc.)

L'argent récolté à travers cette campagne permettra d’acquérir le matériel nécessaire (peintures sans solvants etc) ainsi que rétribuer les artistes à travers des droits d'auteurs. Plus nous récoltons de fonds, plus d'espaces et de bâtiments seront "colorés" avec et pour les enfants.

The money we'll raise here will help to purchase the material required (mainly non toxic paint) and reward the artists through copyrights.
The more funds we get, the more rooms we will be able to "color" for and with the kids.

Le premier bâtiment choisi avec la direction de établissement pour commencer le projet sera l'IME (Institut Médico Educatif).
- Début du chantier: janvier 2019.
- 21 enfants seront concernés pour cette première étape: Leonard, Aymen, Nino, Marwa, Maria, Noa, Amen, David, Azzedine ,Cassandra, Alexandre, Mélanie, Maravilha, Mélissa, Hazal-Claire, Adriano, Pacôme, Mathilde, Inès, Yanis et Méliké.
- Les Artistes sélectionnés sont du collectif toulousain "La bulle Rose".
La Bulle Rose 
- Nous avons pour objectif de réaliser des oeuvres dans 2 salles de vie, 4 couloirs, 1 réfectoire, 1 salle de classe, 3 salles d'activités, les toilettes et 2 grands murs extérieurs.
- Une des oeuvre contiendra le nom de chaque contributeur au projet Philiae Colors. Nous l’appelons "The ThankYou wall"

The first building selected with the hospital staff will be the IME (Education and Medical Institute)
- Kick off: January 2019
- 21 kids will be involved for this first step: Leonard, Aymen, Nino, Marwa, Maria, Noa, Amen, David, Azzedine ,Cassandra, Alexandre, Mélanie, Maravilha, Mélissa, Hazal-Claire, Adriano, Pacôme, Mathilde, Inès, Yanis et Méliké.
- Streetart artists slected are form the "La bulle Rose" (the pink bubble;) Agency
La Bulle Rose 
- Our goal is to do artistic work for : 2 living rooms, 4 corridors, 1 restaurant, 1 classroom, 3 activity rooms, toilets and 2 big outiside walls.
- One art job will be dedicated to thank all contributors to the Philiae Colors project with their name embedded in the painting. We call it "The ThankYou wall".
