Medical Fundraising

On August 13th, 2019 my 33 yr old daughter LeAnne was diagnosed with IDC Breast Cancer, stage 2, grade 3, triple negative in her right breast. An MRI has shown an area of concern in the left breast which was biopsied on 8/20/19. We are hoping this is not also breast cancer; we should have results this week and will update this information. Treatment will consist of chemo every 2 weeks x 4 (8 weeks total), then weekly chemo for 12 weeks. This will be followed by a double mastectomy and then radiation. I am starting this page to aid with out of pocket co-pays and expenses as well any travel expenses. I am starting a Caring Bridge page as well which will list ways people can help. There has been several hundred dollars out of pocket so far and we know there are upcoming expenses that will be out of pocket such as a wig, gas, etc. My daughter and her husband like many others live paycheck to paycheck and have a two year old son to support as well through this journey. Her husband is working a second job as well to try to keep up with financal demands of the family.
