Pete's road back to Rainbow
Pete and his beautiful wife Casey, along with their 4 young children Cooper (11), Baxter (9), Edison (6) and Elsie (3) currently need your help, so we'd love for you to share this link amongst all your family and friends.
In early February Pete became unwell, experiencing uncontrollable pain in his back and severe fevers. He was promptly rushed to Ballarat before being rushed to the specialist cardiac unit at the Epworth Hospital in Melbourne. Here Pete was diagnosed with Endocarditis and severe sepsis in his back, impacting his ability to walk without assistance.
You see, Pete has already experience 1 open heart operation 3 years ago to repair a valve, now he's been told that due to the damage the infection has cause he has to have another open heart surgery. As you can imagine, this is heartbreaking for all his family and friends. Especially since Casey who
has had to be by his side, 500km away from their children and home in Rainbow, Victoria.
Casey has had to take a step back from work commitments over this time to ensure she can take care of Pete's needs as he embarks on another life threatening battle. The last thing the family needs is to be stressed about bills, travel costs, and the cost of Pete's long term care, let alone providing for their children in the future.
