Peter William Mair passed away on January 19, 2017. He is survived by his wife Nelly and his twin sister Pam. Peter had 4 children who all reside in BC. He also leaves his dog 'Mackie.'

He was born in Preston, England in 1931 and grew up in Liverpool. He was in the British Army from 1949-1951 serving with the  65th H.A.A. Regiment based out of Plymouth, England.

After moving to Canada to attend Briercrest Bible College, he and his first wife became pastors in Dundurn, Saskatchewan. After the birth of 4 children, the family moved to BC, eventually settling in Chilliwack.

In his later years he remarried and returned to being a pastor both in Mission, BC and the Lake District area of the UK. Upon returning from England, he and his wife lived in Courtenay, BC.

Peter wil be remembered as a marathon runner, artist, handyman and pastor who cared about the people he met.

In lieu of flowers, the funds will be used to help to provide a cemetary marker in memorial. He will be laid to rest in Mission, BC.

The family thanks in advance all who feel led to contribute. It is very much appreciated at this time.
