Peter Esser's Fund

Our beloved friend, Peter Esser, was helping out his parents in Florida who had just gotten out of the hospital when his 80 year old mom suffered a cardiac arrest.  While on the phone with his sister, Lisa, and as paramedics attended to his mother, Peter himself went into cardiac arrest.  As a result, he suffered from a hypoxic brain injury (a result of oxygen deprivation to the brain) as well as additional cardiac episodes after he was admitted into the hospital.  Sadly, his Mom did not survive.  

Always the jovial friend to everyone, devoted husband, father, brother & son, his situation is dire as he is not able to work or be with his family in North Carolina.  Once he is medically cleared to leave the hospital, he will need to be transported home and will undoubtedly require months of rehabilitation.  There will be numerous expenses that will not be covered by health insurance, including the cost of his medical transportation from Florida to North Carolina.  As the sole wage earner and provider for his family, he needs our help with medical bills and with raising his 12 year old daughter, Michelle.  

Peter is tremendously loved & regarded.  Always the first to wish friends a Happy Birthday on Facebook and to reach out via Private Messages, Peter would surely help out if the situation was reversed.  

Friends from near & far have expressed their concern for his situation.  Please help where you can as he, Kim and Michelle have a very long road ahead.
