Pete Bryant was diagnosed earlier this year with lung cancer.
The cancer has also metastasized to: his brain, spine, pelvis, liver, lymph nodes, and shoulder.
As a result of the toll the cancer has exacted physically and financially, Pete and Christine
have received multiple requests from family and friends who truly desire to help to alleviate
medically related costs as well as increased financial stresses through financial donations.
We have created this page for those who feel compelled to give to do so. It is very important
to Pete and Christine (that no one give unless they directly feel called to do so). With that
being said, we know that these funds will greatly minister to their family and also reduce the
many forms of stress that accompany a serious illness.

Currently Pete and his wife Christine live in Gilbertsville, PA., with 9 of their 14 children still
at home.
Earlier this year they received news that we as humans collectively dread, yet seems to
hover so very close to each and every one of us. When Pete was diagnosed with cancer of
the lung, he and Christine decided to pursue non-traditional methods of treatment. These
treatments were not covered by insurance and the costs for these treatments and the foods
that were needed to change their diet accordingly, was expensive.
Although initially there seemed to be some improvement, in light of the alarming results of
subsequent tests and scans, it became clear that the treatments were not effective. They
have now chosen a more traditional course of treatment, as the most recent scans have
shown that the cancer has continued to spread.
Pete continues to work from home when able, however, he has missed a lot of work due to
weakness, weight loss, trouble breathing and overall fatigue from the illness. His wife
Christine has also begun to work part-time to help supplement the family income.
Though the Bryant's have a large family they have always enjoyed a quiet footprint in the
circles in which they move. They have chosen to allow God to meet any and all expenses
associated with raising a large family, and have succeeded in doing so with dignity and
grace.
Now they need our help. They have gladly helped others in the past, quietly and without
fanfare, and now many of those same people want a chance to return the favor and consider
it a privilege to do so.
It is evident that the need is great and we know that the people who love and care for them
are ready, willing and eager to express their care tangibly.
