My Dad and I have been training hard for this year’s Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race. Unfortunately high waters meant the organisers of the race had to make the decision to cancel it, so we have a new challenge!
We will set off from Ardlui on Loch Lomond and paddle to Balloch, down the river Leven and pick up the canal at Bowling before continuing towards Falkirk. It will be a ‘dawn til dusk’ challenge, setting off at 5am to see how far we can get. Hopefully we’ll reach at least 50 miles, maybe more...
We are hoping to raise money for the Perth & Kinross ADHD Support Group, who help and advise local families. They work incredibly hard and have been a source of support for our family and many local children and adults who are learning to live with and educate others about ADHD.
