Percy goes to the Big Apple

Here we go! My kiddo has been invited to NYC this summer to study writing with the New York Times!!!!!  This is an incredible opportunity for teens across the country, and around the world, to spend two weeks in Manhattan studying with some amazing writers in the amongst the culture and activity of  NYC.  So far this year over 5000 students have begun the application process for the 1700 spots available for this competitive program.  They look for students who exhibit integrity, empathy, ethics and authenticity of character.  Students who enjoy discussions and grappling with tough topics and issues, who have a passion and curiosity for learning about the world.  Percy was invited to participate in the program and granted a $2000 scholarship to cover the $6000 tuition, fees, room, and board.  As of 4/22/2019 we have 4 weeks to raise an additional $1500 more to make this dream a reality.  Please help us reach our goal to send Percy to NYC!
