Hello, my name is Matthew Johnson,
I am setting up this gofundme page for my Uncle in hopes to help him gain back his life he once had. His name is Phillip Wilson and he is trying to begin his life over again. In the last month, with help and encouragement from his family and friends, he's opened up Pensational.com to share his story through his art. My Uncle means a lot to me, so I'm trying to help him in any way that I can.
Ever since I was born he has played a huge role in helping me develop into the man I am today. Now... I'd like to give back to him by helping to share his art with the world, but he needs your help to be able to do so.
My Uncle has spent the past many years homeless, in and out of penitentiaries, and following a path that he knew wasn’t right but still struggled.( He does not live this way anymore) During this time he used his journey to help create amazing pieces of art. My Uncle has a great story to tell through his art. Spending sometimes hundreds of documented hours on each piece, and now he has the ability to share his art with everyone. I have never used a crowdfunding site before, but I feel this is the right place to ask for help. Currently he is living in subsidised housing, a SRO (Single Room Occupancy). Living in a room that's 8’ x 10’ of which includes his bed, desk, sink and that is all. He really needs a break and help from you all. Please consider the minimum donation of $5.00 if not more. I promise it's for exactly what is mentioned.
He is in need of a place where he can live and properly run his business, as his current residence doesn’t allow for necessary things like high speed broadband or space for his printing needs. These donations will help towards a better living space, tools to help him run his business more efficiently, and supplies necessary to an artist. He is in temporary housing and needs to move out soon.
