Pen for Birds Saved from Hoarder

Donation protected
The  Richmond Wildlife Center ‌ assisted Louisa County Animal Shelter by admitting 88 birds and animals after over 500 animals were seized from a hoarding situation in their county. Many of the birds and animals that were admitted are sick and/or injured.

Of the 88 animals admitted, 38 are bantam chickens. They are temporarily being housed indoors. Within the next 72 hours we need to build an outdoor aviary for these birds to move them outdoors. Having them indoors puts them at risk for a respiratory fungal disease.

We need your financial support to buy all of the necessary supplies to build this cage and get it built fast!

Help us raise the $1200 to get these sweet spunky birds outdoors where they will be healthier and happier.
