Thaddeus Pemberton is the oldest of three beautiful children. Always on the go, Thaddeus brings daily joy, challenges, and adventures into his parent's (Olivia and Alex Pemberton) lives. Thad constantly expresses his enthusiasm for often the most mundane things in life: from touching garbage trucks, to digging holes, to running after butterflies. It is this excitement that has a profound impact upon the people in his life. He touched, and will continue to touch, us all. And he is dearly missed. On 8/31/18, Thaddeus (age 4) went to the hospital for a routine procedure on his heart. He had a routine non-invasive catheter surgery to fully open a heart valve, as he was born with it only partially grown open. During this procedure, there were complications. Thad went into cardiac arrest, sustained neurological damage, and the Thad we knew and loved left us for a better place. Thaddeus is survived by his grieving parents, his brother Gabe (age 2), and his sister Rosie (6 months). My sister - Thad's mom - and my brother-in-law - Thad's dad - need your help. Every day they relive the pain this tragic event created, as their current house near Chicago is full of too many sad memories. I am asking for your help. Together, let us ease their pain a little bit, by contributing to their GoFundMe. They need support to pay for their son's funeral and moving costs as they seek to start fresh for Thad's siblings. Every little bit helps, and you have my thanks in advance for whatever you can offer. God bless. Photo: Thaddeus is shown in the center of this picture with his younger siblings on either side.
