Pedro Ruiz Memorial Fund

Pedro Ruiz (April 1, 1990 - July 21, 2019) was a beloved member of the Westminster Avenue Elementary School family. A dedicated father and friend, he was never without a smile and laugh. His life was tragically and violently cut short on Sunday, July 21, 2019. Pedro leaves behind his wife, Jasmin, and his two children, Angel and Jazlene. I've set up this memorial fund with the permission of his family for anyone who wants to help his family offset the cost of his funeral expenses.
For those who didn't know Pedro, he grew up in Venice. Everyone who knew him will tell you that he always wore a smile and was happy to talk to and connect to anyone and everyone. He was a fixture at his kids' elementary school, volunteering regularly in the garden, serving on the board of directors of the school booster club, and showing up to help with every event he was able to. His absence will be felt deeply by us all.
