PearlHarborSurvivorto9/11Memorial

Donation protected
My Friend John Seelie, Pearl Harbor Survivor,  has returned from the 75th Remembrance of the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Thanks to all that helped get him there. One of his wishes  is to see the 9/11 Memorial In New York City. A small group of us are planning on being there on May 15, 2017. According the 9/11 memorial staff there has not been  a Pearl Harbor Survivor vist the memorial. We Intend on having John be at the south tower foundation fountain to salute those lost at exactly 9:59  when the south tower fell on 9/11.  He will then turn toward the North Tower and salute those lost there.  He  will then place a Red, White and Blue Hawaiian Lei at the foundation of the South tower. He will be accompanied by a color guard from the FDNY. Broadway singer  Lucia  Giannetta has donated her time and ability to  sing "God Bless America" .  John will then tour the memorial with the public.

He has been invited to meet and tour Engine 10, Ladder 10 in the afternoon. The people of 9/11 deserve the opportunty to be remembered by someone that has been remembered for 75 years. All the funds will be used on this short trip for airfare and lodging.

75 years ago John was there for all of America, this May 15 he wants to show his respect for those lost on 9/11.  On May 15, God willing John will be 94, 6 months. I have asked artist Emi Kopke, (the artist that created all the artwork embroidered on Johns shirt) to create a piece of art that we can contribute to the museum.  Her concept idea's are brilliant. Flying in from the west coast is WW2 Pacific Theater historian Diane Prizada.
