Peace & Love Through Six Strings

Hello everybody my name is Octavio Torres Alba and I will be very brief. I am twenty-nine years old a husband and a father of a one-year-old beautiful boy and baby coming next year. I work at Silver Wing Elementary School with special needs students. 

I also decided to go back to school and get my bachelor and teaching credential. I have completed all my courses and I am currently completing my final testing. With the family and school all my paycheck and savings are used up after every month. 

I have a Christian Ska and Reggae band called "Los Hijos Del Santo" our mission is to share love and glimpses of hope through our music. our lyrics portray the love we can have through the Almighty. we encourage adolescences to be safe, respectful, and to love individuals no matter what they look like. It is a very fun gig, that does not pay much, but it is very gratifying.

Last month after the earthquakes in Mexico City we hosted a charity event in which all money was sent to the victims of Mexico City. As we were loading our equipment my guitar was stolen. It was a Custom Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty. This guitar was not only used for the band I also used it in the school I work, students really enjoyed signing and learning.
