Paying Tribute to Mom

       I am so incredibly sad to have to share with you all that my mother, Patricia Ludemann, passed away unexpectedly in the hospital last Monday night. Mom was loved by so many, and there is a great big hole in our family and in our hearts without her here with us. Mom worked as a nurse for over 30 years. The majority of her career was in Wisconsin where she worked along side other wonderful medical colleagues at Home Health United. When mom moved from Wisconsin to Florida she worked in hospice care for 13 years before her retirement. Everyone who met my mom loved her and thought her to be a kind, intelligent and endearingly stubborn woman. Ill never forget her compassionate nature and generosity. I swear that she would give up her last dime to another person that was in need.

      Mom's passing was unexpected, and with no life insurance policy to help with the expenses the financial burden rests entirely upon my brother and I. Between the costs of travel from Wisconsin to Florida and the cremation, our budget has already been surpassed. It is an uncomfortable thing to do to have to ask for donations, however, contributions in any amount would help me to give my mother the kind of memorial that she deserves. Though mom did not wish to have any sort of viewing, the donations would aid in the purchase of a memorial stone that would be placed next to my mother's deceased brother's burial site. Also, monetary contributions would allow me to rent a UHAUL so that I can transport some of my mother's furniture and sentimental items back to Wisconsin with me and my brother.
