In this time that we ask you to manage what you can offer by supporting his family with the unexpected costs that come with losing a loved one.
It's with deep heartache to say that Kelman Riches was involved in a fatal accident on December 4, 2019 while preparing for an airshow in Puerto Rico.
Kelman Riches has touched the hearts and lives of so many. You may know the Australian native as Krazy Kel or Kowman, but the version of him that everyone met was always the same. He stayed true to himself no matter the atmosphere.
First impressions may have had you feeling he was a wild, goofy, party animal but he contained so many layers of depth. Kelman was an extremely unique individual that could never be explained with words alone. It was necessary to experience him first hand. Spending genuine time with him allowed you to fully grasp who he was. There was a surplus of knowledge packed under that spiky hair. His ingenuity, humor, energy, skill sets, and creativity were truly admirable. You The child within him shined bright. Bringing a smile to everybody's face was second nature for him. Kel undoubtedly inspired many to reach for your goals, be accepting others, diving into your passions, making your dreams become reality, but above all else, being who you are and spreading love.
Where did you share experiences with Kelman? At his one-of-a-kind funhouse that he also called home? Did he take you on a late-night boat trip to dance under his disco ball at Club Bridge? Perhaps he showed up at your birthday? Maybe it was at a magical music festival? Did you laugh all day while playing billiards in his backyard? Was it at one of his legendary EDC after parties? Did you run into him downtown Orlando while he set off his personal flamethrowers? Or you might have caught one of his stunts at Universal? Boy, he was a natural showman. Regardless of how or where you met Kel, he impacted you in some way and you never forgot him.
If you knew Kelman, then you knew how willing to give and selfless he was. Kelman, you filled the soul of Orlando with an everlasting burst of beautiful energy. We can only thank you for bringing so many of us together. This world will never be the same without you but we will ensure your memory forever lives on.
