Friends Helping Friends

Jim and Janet Hughes have both faced several catastrophic health issues in the past few years.  Jim recently had a stroke and had to have his leg removed above the knee. Many of us grew up with Jim and Janet and they are like part of our own families.  Jim has always been there to give a hug and helping hand to his family and friends. He is also a disabled veteran and when able is an active member of his local AMVETS.  Jim is currently a patient at the Salem VA Medical Center, in their Rehabilitation Department.   All funds raised will go toward the repair of their car so Janet can visit Jim while he is in Salem, and Jim will need ramps and a wheelchair along with other medical items to make their lives better.  We do need to donate as quickly as possible so we can help repair their car and get ramps built.  Hopefully, Jim will be discharged from the rehabilitation center in 30 days.
