PAWS of Adams County needs assistance in helping the animals in our community.
We have animals in foster care and many more that need our help. We currently provide updated vet care to all of our animals before they are adopted into forever homes. This includes spay/neuter and vaccinations, but many times includes more extensive care as many of the animals that come into our rescue are sick, abused, neglected, or simply need something extra.
We we are also starting a TNR program to fix the feral cats (also known as Community Cats) in Adams County. For $35 per cat, we can trap, spay/ neuter, ear tip, microchip and provide rabies vaccination. The cats are then released back to their original location. (The ear tip is important because it lets people know that the cat has been sterilized and that it should stay in its natural habitat and not sent to a shelter.)
