DOG/CAT SHELTER DESPERATELY NEEDED

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this information for my fundraiser. This fundraising campaign is an effort to raise money to help some desperate, struggling animals in a small corner of the world, the Ecuadorian coast. Why Ecuador you ask?
I have been traveling back and forth to Ecuador for the past 5 years and simply fell in love with the tranquility. It is a special place and I spend a lot of time there, and I have many plans for the future, and Ecuador is a big part of them. It's almost like I was supposed to end up here, but not everything is perfect though, as in life it rarely is. As a dog lover, trainer, breeder, competitor and owner, its my obligation to do what I can do for the animals there, and provide closer, and more convenient care and veterinary options for the local community.
The state of the animals there concerns me gravely. There are many loose dogs that are in desperate need of medical attention. I need to build a safe haven for dogs, cats and any animal that needs to rest, recover, and rehabilitate after being resuced whether from malnutririon, tick born and spread disease, poison, or after surgery or vet treatment. Paws 4 Ecuadogs has more than ten field members that volunteer their time, services and love to make this all happen. The cost of medecine is less expensive there for the most part, and we have found a wonderful vet that already has a small refuge for the dogs, cats and other creatures he treats. Although he works full time in the closest large city, Guayaquil, he wants to spend more time on the coastal towns, (about 3 hours to the north) and bring other vets on board to treat the dogs and cats on the coast.I have the specific names of medications that I need to buy to treat veneral disease among the dogs there, which is the only med they can't seem to get affordably. We also need funds for high calorie food supplements, flea and tick meds, and basic supplies to care for the sick and recovering. We need to build a small shelter where the dogs and cats can rest after they are spayed and neutred. We can also vaccinate them there, hold adoption days, and monthly medication days where we can provide medecine at very low, or no cost to the citizens that bring us dogs to treat. It is not uncommon to find dogs and cats in the garbage, because they just have no hope. We CAN change that!
Once the dogs are spayed, neutred, dewormed, bathed and fed- they have a much better chance of being adopted by someone, or at least living a better life as a free roaming dog. Spaying and neutering will stop the overbreeding and the death of so many puppies. It is very hard for us to understand how this all works, but I am available to discuss it with anyone who is interested and has questions. These dogs, if properly vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick and parasite treated, can live a wonderful life in a beautiful landscape. Please help me make this happen. WE are a close knit group of individuals located in New York City, northern NJ, and the coast of Ecuador, close to Montañita.
Paws 4 Ecuadogs was created in January of 2017. We have already spayed a few dogs, and dewormed even more. The two dogs represented in the photos for this fund are names Pelusa and Max. They both roam around the hills connecting to the beach side and usually get fed by some of the local residents, more specifically me and my neighbor there. We vaccinated them, dewormed them, treated them for severe flea infestation, removed many ticks, and gave the female a temporary contraception shot to give her a better quality of life. Even after all the hardship they have been through, they are still two of the sweetest creatures I have ever met, and just a small example of what a little bit of love, effort, and of course money can do.
So far, we have generated great relationships with people trying to help. We have made T-Shirts and hats with our logo on it, so people know we are a united effort, and trustworthy. We post all our activities on our facebook page, and soon will be adding lots of before and after photos of cats and dogs that this fund made it possible to help.

There are so many people in Ecuador that want to help these dogs and just don't have the resources. We have set up plastic jugs to collect change and small bills in local bars, restaurants and hotels there in the area, all handpainted by our team. We plan on spending a lot of time educating people on how to properly care for a cat or dog, where to get it vaccinated and an automatic relationship with our local vet if they choose to adopt. So far we have spent all the money we have raised through our own friends, and I would be so grateful for any amount that you are willing to donate to help me with my cause.
I know there are so many animals in need right here in our own community, but they have a voice. There are so many wonderful organzations in place here to assist these animals in need of homes. Unfortunately, I am dealing with a much deeper problem. I need to make the animals healthy enough to be adopted. This is especially challenging, since there are no real animal adoption organzations in place..YET. Therefore, it is my duty as a citizen of this earth to make a difference for these innocent creatures, one by one, and I desperately need your help. Please help me help them.
