Hello everyone,
We (The Thuku's) would like to inform you of the sudden passing of our dear father and friend, Paul Nderitu which occurred on Tuesday May 9 in Antigonish, NS.
First and foremost, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Joyce Mbugua, wife of the late Paul Nderitu, and currently reside in Antigonish, NS.
We want to extend huge a thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for our family thus far. God has been keeping us and comforting us during this difficult time as we grieve and try to process what is happening.
We have been trying to get everything sorted out and below we have listed the plan:
The plan at hand is to send his body to Kenya, Africa (as per family preference) as we have planned to bury Paul in Kenya within the next week. If any of you know, flying is already expensive and flying a body is substancially more expensive.
By the grace of God the funeral costs/transportation of the body is covered. So what our family needs right now is the flight expenses for the trip to Kenya and back to Canada.
Flight costs for the whole family to Kenya for burial (3 adults and one child) range between $6000-$8000, depending on when its booked. Since it is summer season, it would fall in the $8,000 side of the bar. So therefore, what we aim for is $8,000. Once we reach the goal, the money raised will provide us the funds to purchase the 4 tickets to cover 3 adults (my oldest daughter who is 25, my son who is 24, and myself) and one child (my daugher who is 7).
ANY amount you can give will be of help and trust God to multiply it in Jesus name. We understand we all have our cares and circumstances and I pray that God would multiply your stores and continue to meet you at every point of your needs in Jesus name. Amen
