Celebration of Life Costs for Paul

Paul Lehmann, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, Friend and Music Educator has been fighting so long, and so hard, but it is finally time for him to let go and cross over to reunite with those loved ones who have gone before. We are devastated, but so grateful for the time that we had to say goodbye to him, and the incredible staff at the University of Minnesota Hospital that has taken such good care of him through this transition. We have had some beautiful time to make certain that he knows how loved and appreciated he is.
Anyone who had the honor of knowing him, is already aware of what a brilliant, talented, supportive and loving man we are losing and what an irreplacable void this will leave in the lives of those who love him.
Unfortunately, all of Dad's (Paul's) savings went to paying for the ever rising cost of the nephrology and diabetic medicine that for all of this time were keeping him alive. That means that we are in a rough spot financially regarding his funeral, celebration of life, and the associated costs.
It is hard for us to ask for help and we have avoided it up until now and we absolutely would not if we had the resources ourselves, but we do not so we have decided as we have often in this process to try and put it in God's hands and felt guided by him to ask for help despite our pride.
Regardless if you can help us financially, we welcome your love, support and prayers. For Dad in these last hours, or for his family and friends as we try to understand a tomorrow without him by our side. We thank you for all of the love you have shown us through this long journey and a special thank you to dear friends and family who were able to call or come and say goodbye and help us build cherished memories at the end of this road. We will update when he has become an Angel, (though it is imminent) and with the details of his celebration as they are decided.
