In Memory Of Diane (House Fund)

Dear Family and friends,

I want to thank you all again for your love and support over the past year and a bit. We could not have got as far ahead in the new house as we have if it wasn't for all of you.

Unfortunately, we were not able to get Diane into the new house before she could no longer stay at home... We did make a lot of progress and it's finally starting to look like a home. We just didn't know how long of time we'd have with her.

Last year was a good year for her. She did a lot of things that she hasn't been able since 2013 like walk to our waterfalls, go camping, celebrated her 60th birthday, celebrated their 40th Anniversary, saw the birth of her 4th and 5th Grandchildren, went to Monster Jam, went to Santa's Village (played mini golf even!) and many other activities.

This year has been tough on her, Paul and our family... She has been in and out of the hospital many times because of her bowel diseases. She also has had a couple surgeries to add to it all... the last couple of months have been especially difficult as Diane was in the hospital more then she was home.

Sadly, she was taken by ambulance to Huntsville hospital yesterday.... She is not doing well... She is dehydrated, weak, unable to stand on her own, very tired. Her kidneys are not functioning properly now. Her body is just not as strong as her will...

She wants you all to know how grateful and blessed they are with all the support and love they've been shown. She wants you all to know how proud she is of you and what you've done for them. Please don't be sad or regret that she wasn't able to see the house completed but know that there is still a house to build where her memory will live through.

Thank you all again for your generosity, support and kindness. Funds are still being accepted as they will go to the house, travel and food costs for Paul as well as funeral costs to help ease the burden on Paul.

Please keep Diane, Paul, Amber, Shannon, Kerby, Eryn, Ashley, Raeleen - David, Eleanora, Adelena, Timotheus, Jenelle - Ryan, Dexter, Zadie and Victor in your thoughts and prayers as we journey down this path. Pray for strength, comfort, peace and healing.

Live your lives to the fullest with no regrets. Make every day count. Hold on tight to the ones you hold most near and dear to you. Let past be past and forgive quickly. Time is way too precious to waste on silly, unimportant things. Fix problems now, don't wait as you don't know what tomorrow will bring. Be kind, helpful, open, loving, patient, supportive, honest and understanding. Cherish the small things and focus on what's most important.
