Patrick Meyer was diagnosed and transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI on January 24th with acute liver failure. With his condition, he will be in need of a liver transplant.
The past few weeks have begun a strenuous process of getting his body to a stable condition to endure a liver transplant. He is battling issues with other internal organs that have strung from his liver failure. There are constantly new updates to his condition and the medical team at Froedtert is quick to adapt to this rollercoaster process.
There is no timeline set on when Patrick will be placed on the transplant list as his body is still fighting to get to a stable condition to endure surgery.
The Meyer family and friends have decided to put Patrick's case on GoFundMe to spread word about his condition and for people to keep him in their thoughts and prayers as the process continues. Anything contributed here will be gratefully appreciated in Patrick's honor and to his family and friends who are by his side every step of this process.
